MinimalistColourwork Reg - A Colourwork Knitting Chart Font

This font was created to facilitate making personal knitting charts for stranded colourwork knitting projects within spreadsheet applications. It is clean, minimal and easy to read even when used in complex fair isle charts.

This download includes the MinimalistColourwork Regular OTF (OpenType) font file which can be installed on Windows, Mac and Linux and any other operating system compatible with .otf font files.

Alongside the font file is a glyph chart in pdf format detailing which chart symbol is connected to which letter. Additionally, the symbols are plotted onto a keyboard map in upper and lower case for quick visual reference.

The lowercase version of this font delivers an outlined or slimline version of each symbol, using the shift key produces a thicker or solid version of the same symbol. There are 88 chart symbols in total, made up of these outlined and solid shapes allowing for countless possible combinations even in the most complex of charts.

My resources are priced at a minimum of £3 for financial accessibility — however I encourage you to pay what you think is a fair price.

You are welcome to use this font in commercially published knitting patterns. I have not included a commercial licence and would simply request that the price you pay for the font here reflects the size of your business and estimated reach of your project.
